The Bianchi family
Our story
Il Poggio is first and foremost a working farm: twelve hectares of vines and olive trees, tended by the Bianchi family since 1968.
The rooms came later, for those who want to stay a few days and see up close how Chianti Classico is made. On Fridays and Saturdays our dining room is also open to guests not staying with us.

The answers you are looking for
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 3pm to 8pm, and check-out is by 10:30am. If you're arriving later, just message us on WhatsApp and we'll arrange it.
Do you accept pets?
Yes, small and medium-sized dogs are welcome in some rooms and in the apartment, subject to agreement at the time of booking.
Is breakfast included, and what does it include?
Breakfast is included in every rate: our own jams and honey, homemade bread and cakes, local cured meats and cheeses, and our olive oil for those who prefer a savoury breakfast.
How does the Friday and Saturday dinner work?
We serve a fixed seasonal menu by reservation, open to overnight guests and to anyone coming just for dinner. We recommend booking a few days ahead, especially in high season.
Is there a minimum number of nights?
The minimum stay is generally 2 nights, rising to 3 on weekends in July and August and during the grape harvest. For shorter stays, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
How do I get to Il Poggio?
